Clapotis and What Kind of Knitter Are You?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Here's my current first-string project, Knitty's Clapotis, in Berroco's Cotton Twist in a varigated blue-green. I have dropped five columns so far. I am purling the drop stitch instead of using markers, since all my markers are either packed up or in use (or I might just be lazy.). It's just a shade under halfway done, I hope to get a good amount of knitting done on it during the four-day road trip next week. I love the way the color pools look like some kind of Monet water lily painting.

And finally... because you can never have too many online quizzes... (I thought this was funny because the bit about packing is spot-on for me right now. When packing up all my craft stuff for the move, I specifically held back a very ambitious number of WIP's and queue projects just in case I ran out of knitting before the boxes arrived.)

Knitting Guru
You appear to be a Knitting Guru. You love knitting
and do it all the time. While finishing a piece
is the plan, you still love the process, and
can't imagine a day going by without giving
some time to your yarn. Packing for vacation
involves leaving ample space for the stash and
supplies. It can be hard to tell where the yarn
ends and you begin.
